Liverpool’s first net zero office gets green light

Liverpool is set to see the construction of its first net zero office block get underway.

Developer Sciontec is working with Liverpool City Council to deliver the building, which will be located in the city’s Paddington Village.

The estimated cost of the project is £35 million and the architects involved in the design are awaiting the net zero stamp of approval from key authorities such as BREEAM.

Liverpool John Moores University, the University of Liverpool, Liverpool City Council, and Bruntwood SciTech all have shares in Sciontec.
