Net Hero Podcast – can an alien help save energy?

No I haven’t gone mad, the alien in question is HUGO – an energy saving app. It’s taken the domestic market by storm as it works by linking to your smart meter then offering tips and insights to change your behaviour. The idea being the more you interact with it, the more you start to understand your energy use and therefore cut your emissions.

I spoke with Ben Dhesi the founder of the app about it’s success, inspiration and why he thinks it’s helped people change their behaviour? Can gadets and apps like this be the key to shifting our actions to promote more net zero habits?
