Sony looks to achieve carbon-neutrality by 2040
Sony has brought forward its carbon-neutral target by 10 years, from 2050 to 2040.
This new announcement includes Scope 3 emissions, with the aim being for Scope 1 and 2 emissions to be neutralised by the end of this decade.
The company has also pledged to use 100% renewable electricity at all its sites by 2030.
It is looking to install solar power structures, improve the energy efficiency of its new products and invest in carbon offsetting measures.
